Peveril

I love the way Peveril Castle looks down from the hill. It sits brooding above the village. William Peveril built this castle after the 1066 Norman Conquest of England. Its worth the climb up the hill to explore and see the view. There are also local stories if ghosts haunting the keep!

Here's one of my moody photos of it.

I love the views up to the keep from Castleton. It looks very moody, especially on a winter's day, and would make a great setting for a horror movie. The ghost of peveril anyone?
